About Hanneman Reports

41 years: Experience matters.

When it comes to writing, reporting and investigations, experience matters. As a senior investigative journalist, I have worked in writing and communications for more than 41 years. My work has ranged from crime in Wisconsin’s capital city to the worst corruption in Washington D.C.

In 2018, I wrote a three-part series for The Catholic World Report on the long-unsolved murder of a Catholic priest, Father Alfred Kunz. That was followed by “False Shepherd,” a massive six-part investigation for Church Militant of the corrupt homosexual former bishop of Springfield, Ill., Daniel L. Ryan (1930-2015). The series detailed how Ryan’s well documented predations were ignored all the way to the Vatican.

A Catholic investigation published in 2020, “The Wolf at 1019 Cedar Street,” chronicled the damage done by the homosexual predator priest Aloysius Schwellenbach (1921-2000).

At The Epoch Times and later Blaze Media, I covered the protests and rioting at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. My stories documented the hidden costs of weaponized prosecution, a biased jury pool, and a judiciary intent on a nearly 100-percent conviction rate.

I worked as a newspaper writer, magazine editor, publications director, business owner, marketing agency vice president, marketing account manager, print buyer, and consultant.

My bedrock has always been news and feature writing, but my diverse experience includes production of three documentary films, trade show staging, photography, web development, television advertising, customer appreciation, media events, speech writing and more.
