Justice for Rosanne Boyland

Rosanne Marie Boyland was the last of four Donald J. Trump supporters to die at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Like the death of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot to death by a Capitol Police lieutenant, Rosanne’s death raises deeply troubling issues. Many questions are still unanswered.

Crimes were committed against Rosanne Boyland on Jan. 6, 2021. Lies continue to be told about her. Justice demands that there be a thorough law enforcement investigation free from politics. At the top of the list should be the brutal beating of an unconscious Rosanne by Metropolitan Police Department Officer Lila Morris.

After Rosanne collapsed at the mouth of the Lower West Terrace Tunnel, Morris took a wooden walking stick with both hands and slammed it into Rosanne’s head, face and rib cage. This shocking felonious violence has never been investigated, swept under the rug by the Metropolitan Police Department.

Protesters at the tunnel mouth desperately tried to get police to render medical aid to Rosanne. Bodycam video documented the haunting cries for help. Not a single police officer moved a finger to help. As Rosanne began turning purple from hypoxia, all she got from police was a beating.

A short time later, after bystanders pulled Rosanne to safety and began CPR, blood was visible coming from her right eye and nose. This was never documented by first responders, emergency room doctors or the DC medical examiner.

The Epoch Times national print edition showed the video evidence of Rosanne being beaten.

Rosanne’s death has not been properly investigated. Metropolitan Police deemed all uses of force on Jan. 6 as justified, a ridiculous conclusion easily disproven by the department’s own body cameras.
